Fresh & Simple

Abboud Zhouri and George Elias, both originally from Lebanon, share a deep passion for Lebanese cuisine and have come together to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience in downtown Halifax. Their restaurant, Au Liban, brings the rich flavors and aromas of Lebanon to the people of Halifax. Abboud, who has been in the restaurant business for over a decade, has poured his expertise into every aspect of the restaurant. Working alongside him is George, a talented young chef with a background steeped in the traditions of Lebanese cooking.

 

Together, they have crafted a menu that showcases the best of Lebanese cuisine, from savory mezze platters to succulent grilled meats and aromatic stews. Each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients and traditional techniques, resulting in an authentic taste that transports customers straight to the heart of Lebanon.

 

Their passion for Lebanese cuisine goes beyond just food - both Albert and George are proud to share their culture and heritage with the people of Halifax.
